A belated post from our Sydney trip last year.  Time flies, and I don't have as much time to blog these days especially food snaps. Went up to Sydney last year for a close friends wedding. We visited Longrain , a suggestion from a a twitter buddy. We were not disappointed! Food and service were fantastic and they were able to accommodate our 3 year old. They even bought her over some paper and some crayons. I would highly recommend this place, it was just as good as the Melbourne location. A stand out dish for me was the beef cheek: Slow braised beef cheek, black vinegar, ginger, Chinese celery Betel leaf, pomelo, coconut, chilli, mint  banana fritter for dessert was flawless!

We recently visited Japan and I thought I would share some snippets of our time there. Of course we had to try the famous Tokyo Banana 東京ばな奈  L Lunch at SABATINI di Firenze. 大丸東京店 was outstanding we went there twice I ordered the veal (pictured) location: The Daimaru Tokyo twelfth floor, 1-9-1,  Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, 100-6712 Map My first "pumpkin spiced" anything I have ever tried and I thought it was pretty good.
