※ Slowly Getting There!

Pug Soap production is going well, it is a slow process but I'm slowly getting there. Still waiting on pink grapefruit oil to arrive (supplier sent wrong one) and Lavender. I think that will be the entire new range at this stage. Also, people keep asking are they for dogs or humans ? They are for human use. Here's a preview of the new range:

Hi everybody, Please note, the store is closed for maintenance & will hopefully reopen later next week with new stock. I have made my first batch of soaps for Saffron on the Hill over the past to days. (take a lot of time!) Saffron On The Hill Dog Rescue Inc is a Not-For-Profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes dogs. Many of dogs that come into our care each year require special medical attention, special dietary needs and extra special TLC . There will be the following fragrances available. (I am not making unscented on this run as there was a request for it but only one was purchased.) FRAGRANCES: 100% natural nothing artificial. ※ Easy Blender Salsa

A lot easier than the previous recipe as there's no chopping and coring.  I'm finding easier ways to prepare delicious food now the little one is here I just don't have much spare time.  This salsa is great with corn chips, tacos etc. I used some to marinate chicken before Barbequing the other night and it was super tasty. INGREDIENTS 4 Whole garlic cloves 1 cup Red Wine Vinegar (I also use apple cider vinegar or whatever I have) 25 Tomatoes whole (I used Roma, truss, cherry whatever I had) 1 whole Capsicum, Stem And Seeds Removed And Finely Chopped (red or green) 2 whole Jalapeños, Stem Removed, Finely Chopped 3 whole Habaneros, Stem Removed, Finely Chopped 1bunch Fresh Coriander, Loosely Packed washed stalks included 1 Tablespoon Oregano 1 Tablespoon Sugar 1 Tablespoon Tabasco 2 Teaspoons Cumin 1 Tablespoon chilli flakes (up to you if you want to add this, we like it hot)  2 Tablespoons Tomato Sauce 1-½ teaspoon Salt 1-½ teaspoon Pepper (if

※ Pork Belly - Twice Baked

INGREDIENTS 1 - 1.5 kg belly pork piece, well scored 2 cups apple cider or apple juice 1 apple, cored and quartered 4 cloves garlic 1 onion sliced  METHOD Preheat oven to 150°C. Place sliced apples and onions on baking tray (small, so it fits snug) Place pork the belly on top skin side up. Pour over cider or juice and place apples and cloves alongside. Cover tightly with a sheet of foil and bake at 150°C for 3 hours. Remove the cloves and strain the juices into a saucepan and simmer gently to thicken into an apple gravy/sauce (if so desired)  Meanwhile increase the oven temperature to 180°C. Rub some salt and oil into the surface of the pork and roast the belly until top crackles and browns. Allow to rest 10 minutes. Served here with  an apple balsamic reduction and an apple and onion compote (made from the pan vegetables  fruit or if they're too cooked make from scratch ) .  I purchased apple balsamic reduction from a local gourmet food store, its sweet a

※ Soaps for Saffron - COMING AGAIN IN FEB

Hi Everybody, I've had quite a few e-mails and questions about will I be restocking the soaps for saffron. The answer is yes, but unfortunately I wont be able to get one of the ingredients needed till the end of January now. My supplier e-mailed me this morning apologizing for the delay.  I don't want to try another suppler as my current one is so good and I don't want to compromise the quality of the finished product. On a positive note there will be the following fragrances available. (I am not making unscented on this run as there was a request for it but only one was purchased.)
